Health Fair
In November, we had a team of Doctors and staff led by Dr. Zuricka Samuels and
Dr. Joyce Peynado. This team volunteered their time and service to help the less fortunate in our church and community. They wanted to give back as God has blessed them with their clinics and talents. This was our second health fair outreach. There were two gynecologists, two pediatricians, one general medicine doctor and one radiologist. We also had nurses and other staff join. We attended approximately 226 persons - children, youth, men, and women. We also celebrated a Thanksgiving service for all that they did for our church and community. It included fun events with a clown, games, and singing. The team gave out 30 sacks of food, laundry soap, bath soap, dish soap, and toilet paper, clothing, shoes, and a Christmas gift and stocking filled with goodies for the children in our church and community.
